Nike Air Max Plus TN 'Killer Whale' (2020)

The Nike Air Max Plus TN 'Killer Whale' (2020) is one of the most coveted modern colourways of a silhouette that has defined street culture since 1998. Officially released as White/Black-Metallic Pewter under style code CT1094-102 on 10 April 2020, the pair earned its 'Killer Whale' nickname from a stark monochrome execution that mirrors the markings of an orca — and promptly sold out, with market prices climbing steeply in the years that followed.

Overview
The 'Killer Whale' plays the TN's design codes in high contrast. A crisp white mesh base sits beneath the silhouette's signature palm tree-inspired TPU overlays and cage detailing in deep black, while metallic pewter accents add a subtle industrial sheen. Underfoot, Nike's Tuned Air technology delivers the responsive cushioning and stability the Air Max Plus is famous for, supported by the model's distinctive arched TPU shank through the midfoot. It is a colourway that reads clean from a distance and detailed up close, pairing as easily with tracksuits and denim as it does with more considered fits — a large part of why it has become a modern grail within TN communities worldwide.
